Take this to a Sony certified dealer here in Phoenix,AZ. My choices are: Return for refund and reorder( 2 weeks at least turn around). All, at my expense. I have to take it to a Sony certified dealer for repair. Amazon should make recompense to me, I feel Pay shipping to Sony Mfg`r in Texas for repair ( 2-3 weeks turn around).
I am NOT, a happy camper. Did not work. I Do Not, recomend this product. (there are only 2).leave it for repairs, and then go pick it up after ( how many days no one knows).
We were disappointed because we've found Sony products to be very reliable, usually. The volume increased only a smidge even when it was turned up all the way. We returned this receiver. Once it was hooked up, we found that the volume control did not work well. All we were looking for was a simple receiver that worked well, and this was not it.
This replaced an exact duplicate blown out by lightning - exactly what we needed. Attached to 5 disc Sony CD player and pipped to three rooms - nice sound.
Item was received in good condition and was installedwithout any problems.This item is a basic AM/FM receiver and serves the purposefor which it was bought.It compliments other Sony units that are connected.
This product is excellent for anyone who needs a good quality low cost receiver. it has the basic features one neds in an entry level receiver and it does not pretend to be for audiophiles but it delivers good clean sound and is well worth the price.
